Channels
A channel is a set of rules applied to everything offered to it. Anyone signed in can make one. A channel may only be stricter than the published standard: you cannot lower a bar, add a permission, or reach a rule that protects a person.

Reading the rules needs no account. Writing them does, because a channel carries an owner and every edit is signed.

Make a channel
Lower case letters, digits and hyphens. This is what people type after the hash.
Cutting between two cameras at one game is nearly invisible. Cutting between two unrelated programmes every twenty seconds is a strobe, not a broadcast. This is a guess and is meant to be tuned.
Your rules
Added to the standard below, never instead of it. Each one is sent to the reviewer as written.
The standard every channel is measured against
Read-only, and it is here because you are writing rules that sit on top of it. A channel that tries to relax any of these is refused when you publish, and refused again when it is read, so a rule written straight into the database never reaches a reviewer either.
